Meanwhile, Hannah has been chosen to compete in a food network dessert chef contest. Her mother plans a wedding while Hannah competes, and wins, her first challenge in New York City. The rest of the contest will take place in Lake Eden, her hometown, and everyone anxiously awaits their arrival. Of course it wouldn't be a mystery without a murder, and this time the victim is the guest judge, who is less than cordial.
The mystery was okay and the recipes were interesting, but the story wasn't as appealing to my as the several others I had read. I guess I liked Mike or Norman, and am not ready to accept Ross as her choice. With her seemingly lack of interest in wedding preparations, I am not sure that Hannah is ready either. It is a quick read with enough recipes to satisfy Fluke fans though, and I recommend it to those who like to curl up with milk, cookies and a good book.
